Fruhen Messebau – BAU trade fair in Munich

New Year. New projects. The Fruhen Messebau team was back on the road as early as the 9th of January this year – set-up in Munich.

As the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, the BAU trade fair is viewed as the meeting point of the building industry. Every two years innovations from the areas of commercial, residential and interior construction are presented. 2000 exhibitors are present over an area of almost 183,000 m² and showcase themselves to more than 250,000 enthusiastic visitors. Companies from around 42 countries highlight the international focus of this trade fair and help pull architects, investors, industry and trade representatives, tradespeople etc. from approximately 155 countries into the Bavarian capital every two years.
The exhibition areas of the trade fair cover materials, technology and systems for industry and commercial construction, residential as well as interior construction. All those who are involved internationally in planning, building and designing come together here. One of the special features of the BAU is the extensive supporting programme amongst other things. Visitors receive information about the newest insights from research and science with forums, special shows and numerous events. Good reasons for a visit to the fair.

The company SPAX International was also present at the BAU in Munich from the 16th to the 21st January 2017. In honour of the 50th anniversary of the brand, visitors could learn about the company’s innovations within an almost 150 m² large stand on two levels.

The fair stand also attracted particular attention with its celebrity guests: Tommo from the Kabel-1 show “Die Super-Heimwerker” and Claus “Clausi” Scholz from the reality TV show “Ab ins Beet” were responsible for presenting.

Special things like the screw-in competition this year helped make the trade fair stand into an interactive event.  The participants had the chance of winning a variety of prizes. The main prize amongst others was a holiday to see Konny Reimann in Hawaii. Lots of visitors took on the challenge and helped create an excellent atmosphere. Fans of the company, who were not at the fair, were also able to be part of the action. SPAX followers had the chance to take part in additional competitions by using the comments function, within several real-time broadcasts on Facebook.

The comprehensive trade fair and communication concept created by the full service agency SanderWerbung had to be produced and assembled in the accustomed demanding quality to correspond with the philosophy of the company SPAX.  The advantages of years of cooperation bore fruit again in this project: experience is key. Fruhen Messebau and SanderWerbung have been working together for more than 20 years and both benefit from each other’s know-how. A trade fair stand concept developed with high quality combined with first class production capacities. The ideal combination for a successful project.
