Music Trade Fair 2016 – Fruhen Messebau: a competent partner of Yamaha

Yamaha Music Europe at Musikmesse 2016 in Frankfurt

To celebrate their 50-year anniversary, Yamaha held an exhibition in a space of over 3,000 m²

“It was fun to implement a project like this and to work together with so many great partners.”
Our project manager Wilfried Dittman on how this year’s project went for Yamaha.

This project was special since the exhibition was staged for the first time at the newly built Portalhaus in Frankfurt, which has an architecturally modern design:

Starting from 29th March, the first fully loaded lorries arrived at the site of the Frankfurt Trade Fair.
30 employees then began to work flat out to bring Yamaha’s world-famous design to the Portalhaus.

Some impressions from the first set-up days:

Our team needed 10 days of work to finish all sections.
This included some Line 6 sections, then also digital pianos, synthesizers, wind instruments, and finally individual exhibition stages and hubs for retailers. This year, Yamaha offered a 360 degree presentation of its product range.

2016 is a special year for Yamaha Music Europe:
50-year anniversary. To mark this occasion, we created, together with Yamaha, a new trade fair concept. An integral part of this new concept was moving to a new location. With a space of just over 3,000 m², the Portalhaus offered the ideal conditions to capture specialist retailers’ and music enthusiasts’ imagination with the high quality products on offer.

For many years we have been a well-coordinated team. This is also important to Yamaha.

Mr Michael Stöver, Director Country Management of Yamaha Music Europe GmbH, commented on the strong teamwork with the following words:

“Yamaha has been working together with Fruhen Messebau for more than 20 years at the Frankfurt Music Trade Fair. We particularly appreciate their reliability and the deep, trusting relationship which has developed over this long time period. We also value their goal-orientated and innovative solutions to difficult commissions.  In 2016, each of these skills was called upon again, when Yamaha had a very challenging space to stage their exhibition at the Frankfurt Music Trade Fair, a new location: the exciting architectural environment of the Portalhaus. This commission was carried out excellently with creativity, innovative ideas and superior craftsmanship, and the result was fantastic!”

Strong teamwork included constant communication, shared experience and passion for carrying out the project. Working together, aiming for the goal – this is what we demand and how we promise success.

We are happy that our customers have been made enthusiastic again this year and we are looking forward to further projects together.
